The Hotel

The Mansion Hotel & Spa at Werribee Park is an easy drive from central Melbourne. The grand 1870s Italianate Mansion house stands majestically within acres of manicured gardens and mature trees.

There are 91 splendid guestrooms here. Classic Rooms are in the heritage-listed wing of the hotel. They are warm and inviting and come with a queen-size bed. Superior rooms are larger and are located in the Spa Wing. These luxurious rooms overlook the park and feature a king-size bed.

Junior Suites are larger still, and they come with a spa bath and a balcony.

Outside your room, enjoy a game of snooker in the snooker room, or relax in The Library. There’s an open fire here, a collection of contemporary books, newspapers, and magazines, and an all-day drinks service.

You can experience award-winning culinary creations at Joseph’s Restaurant & Bar, while Shadowfax Winery offers tastings, cellar door sales, a gourmet deli serving lunch daily, as well as an underground barrel hall and its own vineyard.

Also here are a 17-metre indoor pool, a gymnasium, six floodlit tennis courts, and excellent conference facilities.

How about watching a game of polo at the associated National Equestrian Centre, or taking a stroll through the Victorian State Rose Garden – home to more than 5,000 roses. The roses are in bloom from October to May, and are at their very best from November to April.
