Surrounded by the mountain vistas of the World Heritage-listed Lamington National Park, O’Reilly’s Lost World Spa is the ultimate haven for rejuvenation and balance.

Spa Manager, Raelean Durant, has drawn inspiration from the surrounding beauty to create an enticing menu of treatments and spa rituals that promise relaxation for the mind, wellness for the body and space and time for the soul.

“The setting is such a big part of the therapy, with the simplicity of sitting by the fire, and savouring the stunning mountain views and sights and scents of the forest as the starting point for a range of treatments that stimulate the senses, calm the mind and replenish the soul,” Ms Durant said.

O’Reilly’s Lost World Spa has found a natural partner in Sodashi, the West Australian company that supplies the finest natural products to some of the world’s best spas in 20 countries, including Six Senses Spas and luxury facilities at the premium Four Season hotels.

The Lost World Spa also draws on the unique healing properties of Vino-therapy, utilising extracts from grapes grown in O’Reilly’s own vineyard, which contain some of nature’s most powerful anti-oxidants.

There are seven treatment rooms (including two sublime couple’s suites), a relaxation room warmed by a fire and boasting stunning vistas, and an infinity edge lap pool.

Family-owned O’Reilly’s offers a range of accommodation styles to suit all tastes and budgets. O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat has the traditional warmth and charm of guesthouse accommodation with a focus on nature. Accommodation ranges from the stylishly comfortable to the ultimate indulgence of the Two Bedroom Canopy Suites.

Meanwhile, 48 new Mountain Villas offer that rare combination of natural escape and exciting investment in an unsurpassed location. Designed to subtly resemble birds perched high amidst the trees and built from natural and lightweight materials, these villas offer stunning mountain and rainforest vistas. Each villa is stylishly appointed and features an outdoor spa on an expansive timber deck, a gas fireplace, a contemporary kitchen, air conditioning, ensuite bedrooms and undercover parking. One-, two-, and three-bedroom villas are available for a minimum of two-night stays.

An associated Conference Centre features retreat-style conference facilities, with a breakout room, large terrace and infinity pool - all set against a breathtaking mountain backdrop.

Retreat tariffs also include a complimentary early morning bird walk, an afternoon rainforest walk, and an evening audio-visual presentation. Plus, children under 12 stay free (when using existing bedding) and eat free (from the kids' menu) when dining with their parents in the Retreat Restaurant on a meals package.

The Retreat facilities include a plunge pool, a spa and sauna, a games room, a bar, and a lounge library with an open log fire. Guests can enjoy bountiful meals in the Retreat Restaurant - providing plenty of fuel for those long bush walks - while the Café provides a lighter alternative.

What's more, O’Reilly’s ‘Discovery Program’ operates daily and is led by a team of experienced guides. Activities include guided rainforest walks, birdwatching, 4WD adventures, and nocturnal activities including glow worm spotting.

Then there's O’Reilly’s famous Tree Top Walk, which gives guests the opportunity to experience the rainforest from a bird's-eye view by climbing up into the rainforest canopy on a series of suspension bridges.

Kids can go wild with O’Reilly’s ‘Eco Ranger’ children’s activities too, which run every Queensland school holidays.

An extra attraction is in the picturesque Canungra Valley below, where the O’Reilly’s have established the same welcoming tradition at their O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards. Have lunch on the verandah of the historic homestead, picnic under the shade of a silky oak, and spot platypus playing in the crystal clear creek. The Vineyard is open seven days a week from 10:00am to 4:30pm for cellar door tasting, light lunches, popular picnics, and live music on Sundays.
