The Spa
Tthe Breathtaker On High Spa Retreat is Mt Buller’s only day spa. It has six treatment rooms, a 20-metre, heated lap pool, and a large spa and steam room. The spa therapies use LI'TYA luxurious products, which combine ancient indigenous medicines and massage techniques, with aromatherapy, colour therapy, and herbalist principles. Signature treatments include the LI’TYA Mala Mayi Body Wrap and the Warrayala.

Breathtaker On High Spa Retreat will be open from the 11th of June for the 2010 Snow Season.
During the summer months Breathtaker On High is closed, no treatments will be available during this time.
The Fifth Element
Breathtaker On High’s concept and design is based on the embodiment of the four elements: fire, water, earth and air. The result being the fifth element: known in Medieval Latin as Quinta Essentia. The fifth and highest element in an ancient and medieval philosophy that permeates all of nature and is the substance composing the celestial bodies.
Thought to be first postulated by the Pythagoreans, Quinta Essentia is necessary to explain the diversity and multiplicity of life, the finest or best of any substance. It embodies the philosophies and goals of Breathtaker — to ensure you have the ultimate experience in comfort, quality and service.
The Hotel
A favourite with families and couples alike, Breathtaker offers exceptional alpine hospitality, unparalleled customer service and incomparable facilities. Breathtaker’s well appointed, self contained suites offer a kitchenette, TV, DVD, an Ipod dock and a drying cupboard. Breathtaker’s off-mountain parking and private four-wheel-drive transfer system is a must. Treat your family or your partner to the very finest Mt Buller has to offer.
Apart from the spa, other highlights include, The Loft Lounge & Bar (open all snow season), BT Gourmet Pizzeria (open from 26 June), Signature Restaurant (open 26 June), in house room service (from 26 June), guest ski lockers, free kids' play room, free kids' playstation zone, free kids' bean bag movie zone, free kids' movie channel, free in-house movies, 4th level family spa and steam room (separate from day spa), and fireplaces.
The hotel and spa is just 80 metres from the Holden six person chair lift, and 100 metres from Mt Buller’s ski school. There is ski-in/ski-out access to the hotel, snow permitting.
Arrive early and stay late using Breathtaker’s change rooms including showers and lockers.

The extensive lift system gives you access to over 300 hectares of skiable terrain, with something to appeal to all levels of ability. Runs range from the wide beginner’s slopes of Bourke St and Burnt Hut Spur, to the challenge of our black runs like Chamois and the back of Summit.
Mt Buller has three terrain parks designed for all skill levels, a half pipe and an ultra cross course, with a dedicated snow grooming team to maintain their condition.
The village toboggan park has its own snowmaking machine to keep the kids happy all winter long. There is a second toboggan park located at Horse Hill Chairlift, where you can then catch the lift up to the snowtubing park.
The Mt Buller Village is situated picturesquely at the heart of the mountain, offering ski in, ski out accommodation and a huge range of bars and restaurants. With a wide range of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets, there is something to cater for all needs.
